The Football Terrace — also trading as TFT Productions — was founded by Terry Flewers on 16 July 2013. Thirteen years on, Terry remains the channel's host and Managing Director: a football finance and media professional who built the show on an idea few others were running with — fan media didn't have to mean one pundit in a studio telling everyone else what to think. The channel has built its identity on reacting to the mainstream agenda as much as the football itself, calling out the pundits — Gary Neville, Roy Keane and the rest — when their take doesn't match what fans are actually seeing.

It's not a one-man operation. Alongside Terry, a team of editors, co-hosts, social media managers and technical crew — with KJ Milligan a key figure in building the brand — keeps the channel running at a relentless pace. Since April 2021, The Football Terrace has been in partnership with Snack Media, the group behind GiveMeSport, for content syndication and commercialisation, while Terry stays on as the face and Managing Director of the brand.
